A vertical race with exactly 1,000m of altitude difference awaits the participants. The start is in the Bolgen area. From there it goes initially on the ski slope into a forest path, which leads the participants to Jschalp. Once arrived at the Jschalp, it goes over the wide ski slopes of the ski area up to the Jakobshorn.

Vertical Race 0.6 - Short

The short version of the vertical race starts at the Jschalp and brings the athletes along a course of 600m of altitude difference to the peak of the Jakobshorn.

Individual Race 1.6 - Long

The individual race starts near the Jschalp. From there it goes first towards Jakobshorn, before a foot track leads the participants to Bräma ridge. After removing the skins, it goes down to the transition area Rot-Weiss. There, a second ascent to the transition area Brücke is waiting for the athletes, where the last 90m of altitude difference have to be covered by foot. After the descent to Masten 2 and the ascent (390m of altitude difference) to Masten 11, it goes down towards the last transition area, where the athletes will reach the finish line after a short ascent.

Individual Race 0.8 - Short

Like the race over the long distance, the shortened track starts near the Jschalp and leads the participants to the Bräma ridge (the last 110m of altitude difference foot track). From there, the descent leads directly to the transition zone Masten 2. After a short climb, it goes on the descent towards the last transition area, where the athletes face a last short ascent to the finish line.
